28th August 2008

28th August 2008 (Hypothetical Syllogism, Chain argument.)

Right now I'm sitting in FCM cafe, having my roti pisang and teh tarik. And of course I waited for my roti pisang to get ready for about 1ominutes today. And thats too long. Because there are many students in FCM cafe today. Its early morning, breakfast time!!Maybe thats why. While I was waiting for my roti pisang, I realised how fast the "roti-maker" was doing roti for all the students who ordered. He was doing really fast because the amount of students coming kept increasing!! The "roti-maker" was making roti while there was another guy who delivers the roti. The students were waiting for their roti near the roti making place.Alot of them, it was packed. So, the "roti-deliver" could not stand and got angry. Most of them went to their seat and sat, waiting for their roti to be delivered.

As a conclusion, I saw that this is related to deductive reasoning. Which is Hypothetical Syllogism, Chain argument.

2 conclusions:
[ When there are alot of students in FCM cafe, there will be alot of orders.
If there are alot of orders, the faster the "roti-maker" works.
So,
if there are alot of students in FCM cafe, the faster the "roti-maker" works.]

[When there are alot of students in FCM cafe, there will be alot of orders.
If there are alot of orders, the more students will stand near the roti place.
If there are more students standing near the roti place, the "roti-deliver" becomes angry.
So, if there are alot of students in FCM cafe, the "roti-deliver" becomes angry.]
